Bollywood actor Aamir Khan got emotional as his daughter Ira Khan tied the knot again with her longtime partner Nupur Shikhare on Wednesday. The newlywed exchanged vows in a ‘white wedding’ and even shared a passionate kiss amidst the cheering and hooting of their guests. After signing their marriage certificate on January 3, the couple jetted off to Udaipur with their families and friends for their elaborate wedding festivities. Videos of the same are now going viral on social media, leaving netizens gushing about the beauty of the ceremony.
In a video shared by glamorousyouofficial, the newlyweds can be seen exchanging their vows at the Taj Aravali Resort, Udaipur in Rajasthan. After actress Zayn Marie Khan officiates Ira and Nupur’s wedding and announces them as ‘man and wife,’ the couple shares a passionate lip-lock and exchanges their rigs. An emotional Aamir is seen wiping his tears. Not only does the couple walk down the aisle while the guests shower them with rose petals, but the newlyweds are also seen gathering their immediate family in a group hug which leaves the bride emotional. Well, if reports are to be believed, after concluding their 4-day wedding event, Ira and Nupur will be returning to Mumbai and host a gran reception from Aamir Khan’s friends and acquaintances from Bollywood. For those who don’t know, Nupur is a fitness coach, who has trained Bollywood celebrities like Sushmita Sen and Aamir Khan. On the other hand, Ira made her directorial debut in 2019 with the stage production ‘Euripides' Medea,’ an adaptation of Euripides' Greek tragedy Medea. Apart from this, she also launched Agastu Foundation, which aims to help and support people battling with mental health issues. Having met during the pandemic, the couple got engaged in September 2022 during a sports event. They proceeded to host an engagement party for their family in November of the same year.
